Following months of consultation with industry experts and extensive testing, Hurst Doors in partnership with fire door systems (fds) bring you the compliant Neuma fds fire door system which has proven consistently to pass the bi-directional fire resistance test, satisfying the UK’s National Test standards as well as the demanding European test standard EN1634 for fire door safety.
Combined with a dedicated, technical team, we can help you at every step, from initial specification through to contract completion.
Doors are available in a standard or fixed overhead toplight frame and in Black, Blue, Red, White and Anthracite Grey or any RAL premium sprayed colour. Clear and Stipployte glazing options are available and all of our fire doorsets come with a high specification of door furniture and hardware as standard.
Proven to keep fire at bay for more than 30 minutes, the system has been tested in accordance to EN1634:-1:2014 for fire and smoke.
The Neuma fds fire door system, boasts an unrivalled library of bi-directional test data and the door set has been tested to 50,000 cycles.
Bi-directional tests have been conducted by third party UKAS (or EU equivalent) accredited test centres in three different countries UK, Germany and France.
A compliant system that has been independently tested and proven consistently to exceed the demanding requirements of both the British and EU standards.
This highly efficient system not only demonstrates integrity against fire, but also delivers performance relative to smoke control, Security, weather, sound insulation and thermal performance.
A system designed to meet the rigorous testing requirements of enhanced security standards PAS24:2016 and Secured by Design. The door set is compliant Approved Document Q.
Weather Performance Testing
The system has been successfully tested to the BS6375 standard for weather performance.
Provided as full door sets with both solid and glazed door styles, with or without a fixed overhead toplight, and a choice of hardware.
As a Q-Mark Fire Door Scheme member, Hurst actively promote and support the need for 3rd Party Certification for a risk to life product. As such, all stages of the supply chain, from the door blank manufacturer to Hurst Doors as an authorised partner and fabricator of the fire door system, have been successfully audited for dual-scope Composite Fire Door Manufacture covering fire resistance and Enhanced Security Door certification by BM Trada.
