Hydrobrake Flow Control Chamber

The Hydro-Brake Optimum® flow control chamber comprises of a precast concrete chamber base containing a bespoke Hydro-Brake Optimum® Flow Control which is delivered to site ready for immediate installation.

As the Hydro-Brake Optimum® Flow Control is already installed in the flow control chamber complete with preformed benching (preformed benching with standard units only), installation is cut to a fraction of the time compared to conventional methods. Inlet hole(s) are cored or formed prior to delivery and are made to suit exact site requirements. A range of outlet pipe sizes are also available to suit site requirements.

Easy installation

Once lifted into position the connecting pipework for the flow control chamber can be installed.  Depending on the overall depth of flow control chamber required, further concrete rings can be added and the cover slab positioned (additional concrete chamber rings and cover slabs sold separately),

The Hydro-Brake Optimum® is Hydro International’s new generation of Hydro-Brake® Flow Control.

The Hydro-Brake Optimum® has been independently certified by with the BBA and WRc giving engineers and adopting bodies’ confidence in both the performance and characteristics of the device along with the durability/longevity of the product itself.

CPM Flow control chamber

CPM has designed this off site solution precast flow control chamber to accommodate a requirement for control storm water events at different peak levels i.e. 1 in 20 or 1 in 50 year storm events etc. To control these storm events the concrete chamber can be pre-fitted with a Hydro-Brake Optimum®, Hydro-Brake® or Orifice plate on either a head wall or weir wall.

CPM in an innovative joint venture with Hydro International has introduced a series of easy to install pre-formed Hydro-Brake® flow control chambers that incorporates a pre-fitted Hydro-Brake® or Hydro-Brake Optimum®. This flow control chamber has been designed to enable the contractor to install the flow control chambers in a fraction of the time it takes using conventional methods.

CPM has a comprehensive range of chambers to suit most flow control chamber requirements, with a range that starts from 1200mm up to 4000mmm diameter.
